Dear 6th Graders and 6th grade families,
I think about you everyday and your 6th grade year that was cut short. I know that you all are well prepared and ready to move on to middle school, but there were a few things you wanted to savor. You were looking forward to your overnight science camp, the AR Dance, 6th vs. staff games, 6th grade promotion, and the 6th grade trip to Knotts Berry Farms. You are an amazing and accomplished 6th grade class, and we have found ways to celebrate you and your accomplishments. Thank you for maintaining great spirits through a rough time and disappointments.
As you move on, please know that I am very proud of each of you. For most of you, I have been your principal since Kindergarten. It has been a true pleasure and honor to watch you learn and mature. You have learned important lessons at Westmont to carry through your academic and personal lives. Remember to breath. Remember you are always Westmont Kids and Westmont will always be your home. Most importantly, remember to make each day great. The choice is yours!
Warmest wishes and regards, your principal,
